About Us

Stratmoor (commonly known as Stratmoor Hills) is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The population of the Stratmoor CDP was 6,900 at the United States Census 2010. El Paso County governs the unincorporated community. The Colorado Springs post office (Zip Codes 80906, 80910, and 80911) serves the area.

This area initially grew outward from the world-famous Broadmoor Hotel. In 1942 the War Department began construction of Fort Carson in the southwest area as well. Fort Carson is a major employer for the entire Pikes Peak region and brings a lot of activity and commerce to this part of town.

The Stratmoor Hills Water and Sanitation Districts were organized in 1956 and are governed by two separate elected Board of Directors that are elected by electors and property owners within the two districts boundaries. The Districts supply drinking water and sanitary sewer services for
an unincorporated area of El Paso County. The Districts are bordered on the north, east and west by the city of Colorado Springs and on the south by Fort Carson Military Reservation and Security Water and Sanitation Districts.

We at the Stratmoor Hills Water and Sanitation Districts are committed to providing safe and reliable services to our customers in the most efficient and effective manner possible. We take pride in the quality of our water and we strive to deliver it with the highest level of customer service.
